What are some of the fresh ideas coming from our respective programs? I know that at Wayne State there is an increased focus on online programs, but also on cohort groups that attend the Detroit campus and go through their grad school experience together. I enjoyed being in a cohort but you do tend to feel isolated at times - "Library Student Island...". I did not get a chance to take any library/business admin. courses, but I think that would help, and I think that Wayne might eventually start having marketing and business classes specifically for libraries. Does U-M have anything like that? If so, I might just see about coming over as a guest student!
